Grooming Operations
The Holy Cross Powder Hounds Snowmobile Club is a grooming club that is sponsored by the Colorado Snowmobile Association. We groom the Red & White area of the White River National Forest which is located north of Avon Colorado and west of Vail Colorado.
Our grooming efforts are essential in preserving snowmobiling in Eagle County. Without the continued efforts of our club, snowmobiling would be slowly phased out. There are organizations that continually work to shut down our riding areas. Even if you don't ride the groomed trials, grooming preserves the area for our club members.
The Holy Cross Powder Hounds are under special use permit by the White River National Forest. The Holy Cross Powder Hounds are an equal opportunity entity.
